What if local investors teamed up to create better, longer-lasting funding for Denver's social impact organizations?

Join us for a virtual Impact Investing 101 with the Colorado Impact Investment Network (COIIN), a program of SVP Denver. COIIN is a group of donors and impact-minded investors who combine their money to make low-interest loans to mission-driven groups across the Denver metro area.

The meeting will start with a welcome from SVP Denver CEO Theresa Rinne-Meyers. Next, SVP's Programs and Investments Lead, Allie Reitz, will give a short Impact Investing 101 talk. She'll share a clear overview of impact investing and explain how Colorado is opening up new ways to fund local groups. You'll learn how tools like catalytic capital and low-interest loans can help investors support organizations that build steady income and create real community change.

Then, you'll hear from founding COIIN investors who took part in the group's first 2025 investment round. In a guided discussion with audience Q&A, they'll share what drew them in, what they learned, and how investing together helps people make bigger, more meaningful investments in their communities.

Whether you're a seasoned investor, a donor exploring new ideas, or just curious about the future of community finance, this event is a great chance to learn, connect, and see how your money can make a lasting difference.

The Colorado Impact Investment Network (COIIN) brings SVP Denver partners and community investors together to pool their money and offer low-interest loans to nonprofits and social mission groups. Through investor training, shared research, funder connections, and group decision-making, COIIN moves more money into the local impact community. It also helps organizations working on health, economic, and racial fairness in the Denver metro area find steady funding.
