Final SVP Denver Impact Happy Hour is December 4

November 5, 2019

Several times a year, SVP Denver hosts Impact Happy Hours. The events allow current partners to socialize and share their experiences about the exciting projects they are working on in their engagements with SVP. Our Impact Happy Hour also provides an opportunity for people who are considering joining the partnership to meet staff and partners in a fun, low-key environment.

“We reinstituted our happy hour events in 2019; they’ve been a big hit with our partners and are a great way for new people to get acquainted with our organization,” says Merrill Stillwell, managing partner at Blue Mountain Investments and board chair of SVP Denver. “We strongly encourage every partner to bring a guest so we can expand our network in the community.”

These events are an informal, yet informative, way for civic-minded Denverites to mingle with one another. They can learn more about the SVP model of engaged philanthropy and see how it is driving impact in our community. We encourage aspiring philanthropists who are interested in becoming more engaged with nonprofits to come learn about our programs.

Our final happy hour of the year will be from 5–8 p.m. at Icehouse Tavern, on Wednesday, December 4. If you’re interested in attending, please e-mail hello@svpdenver.org so we can have a good head count! Drinks and food are on us!
