SVP invests in and collaborates with nonprofit organizations that serve children and youth who are at risk or economically disadvantaged.
To Provide Leadership and Philanthropic Education to the Partners
Through their hands-on involvement with nonprofits and through SVP’s educational programs, partners learn about philanthropy and the nonprofit community.
To Assist and Support local Nonprofits
SVP invests in nonprofit organizations each year through an innovative grant making process.Investees receive financial and human capital from SVP to improve day-to-day operations and long term success. Since 2000, SVP Denver has worked with over 30 local youth focused nonprofits, written cash grants worth $611,000, and contributed 1,000 volunteer hours annually for an estimated value of over $1,000,000.
The Partners
Partners come to SVP with a wide range of backgrounds in business development, finance & accounting, law, marketing & communications, nonprofit management, real estate and information technology. Some partners are new to philanthropic giving, while others have a history of charitable work. All share the desire to work together to make a positive impact on our community. Read more.
