Who Becomes A Partner
People from all sectors and professional backgrounds are part of the SVP Denver network. Partners join for various reasons, but many are interested in meeting other like-minded professionals in a philanthropic organization based on collaborative problem-solving, also, they share a desire to learn more about the community where they live, and they want to make a lasting impact. Our partners enjoy:
- The opportunity to make a bigger impact by “pooling” their time and money with other donors
- Having the ability to work with the grantees to improve their infrastructure to impact their overall services and programs, which results in a stronger community
- The opportunity to learn from experts about the Denver community through various educational offerings
- Being able to participate on the grantmaking committee to learn about strategic giving and how nonprofits work
- The opportunity to make personal and professional connections with a wide variety of accomplished people in the corporate, government, and nonprofit sectors
