Empower ∙ Educate ∙ Renew
The 2009 ReadyTalk 5K Race for Charities (RFC) is being

Web Conferencing provider.
Headquartered in the heart of LODO, ReadyTalk is committed to bringing

Don’t leave Fido at home!
In addition to the 5K Race/Walk, ReadyTalk is proud to invite all four-legged
friends to participate during the “Walk with Paws” portion of the event. Please
ensure that all breeds are non-aggressive and remain on a leash at all
times.
Prizes will be awarded to winners of both the Men’s and Women’s age brackets,
as well as for “Best Dressed Dog.” In addition, all participants will be
automatically entered into a post-race raffle that will feature prizes from
local business, restaurants, and sport venues.

Proceeds will support these Non-Profits
While there are many local programs deserving of recognition and assistance,
this year, all proceeds from ReadyTalk’s inaugural RFC will benefit the
following two Denver-based charities:
The Young Philanthropist Foundation
(YFP)
YPF is dedicated to engaging youth in philanthropy by creating opportunities
for kids and families to give back to their community. We believe that
philanthropy is anything you do to make the world a better place, and base our
programming on a simple philosophy: if you give kids the opportunity to make a
difference now, they will continue to make a difference the rest of their
lives.
Work Options for Women (WOW)
For more than 10 years, Work Options for Women (WOW) has had a vital mission:
to help give homeless and impoverished women the training and skills necessary
to be successful in the work force. For 16 weeks, women are taught foodservice
skills in a commercial kitchen that prepares over 300 meals a day. Upon
graduation 100 percent are placed in food service jobs. Twelve months after
placement, 86 percent are still employed – far above the national success rate
of similar
programs
