How To Get Involved

 Partners can choose their level of involvement from money-only to one-time events; from discrete projects to ongoing commitments. On average, about 10% of our partners are "money-only," and the rest have volunteered their time in any the following areas:

1. Helping to decide which nonprofits SVP should invest in by serving on the grantmaking committee
2. Implementing operational best practices through volunteering with an SVP team at a grantee
3. Gaining knowledge about the philanthropic and nonprofit communities by attending educational events hosted by SVP Denver
4. Being part of an SVP internal committee to SVP Denver grow the next generation of philanthropic leaders  

The entire partnership comes together several times a year for partner meetings, social events, and partner education events. Otherwise, partners work in small teams that focus on pre-determined projects.
