Grantmaking Process

Each year we invite local nonprofits who are eligible for SVP funds to apply to partner with our organization. The SVP grantmaking process includes:

  1. All organizations are encouraged to submit a Letter of Interest (LOI) if their programs and mission meets the funding criteria. Please read the funding guidelines to determine if your organization qualifies for SVP funding.
  2. Due to time constraints, only the top organizations are asked to submit a Full Proposal. (Please note SVP Denver now uses the Colorado Common Grant with modifications)
  3. Organizations who are selected to submit a full proposal have an opportunity to meet with members of the Granmaking Committee to ask questions about how to fill out the SVP full proposal.
  4. A select group of organizations will be chosen to meet with members of the SVP Denver Grantmaking Committee.
